Olive Oil

Olive Oil is pressed from Olives, a traditional Mediterranean crop. Unlike most vegetable oils, high quality Olive Oil is not refined, but is ‘cold pressed’ to maintain its flavour.

Product Characteristics
Olive Oil is high in mono-unsaturated fatty acids, which are widely considered as having health benefits as opposed to the negative health connotations of saturated fats. Olive Oil features a range of compounds which have antioxidant activity.

Uses & Applications
Olive Oil is widely used as a cooking and salad oil, where it is prized for its strong, fruity flavour. Refined Olive Oil is typically used as general purpose cooking oil and may be used in deep frying applications. Olive Oil is also used in a range of non-food applications such as the manufacture of soap. Olive Oil is available from Masterol in two grades - Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Pomace Olive Oil.

Product is offered in a range of pack sizes including 10 and 20 litre / kg packs, 205 litre drums and 1000 litre IBC and Pallecon.
